MGM+’s The Winter King Cancelled

TV News Just In

The Winter King, a 10 part historical fantasy series, has been cancelled after its first season, which aired on ITVX in the UK and MGM+ in the US.

The series, adapted from Bernard Cornwell’s trilogy, stars Iain De Caestecker as Arthur Pendragon, the central character in this epic story. De Caestecker’s performance illustrates Arthur’s transformation from an outcast to a legendary warrior. The cast also includes Eddie Marsan as King Uther, Ellie James, and Nathaniel Martello-White as the enigmatic wizard Merlin.
