Michael Bay’s Born Evil: The Serial Killer and the Saviour Premieres September 2 on ID

True crime documentary series, Born Evil: The Serial Killer and the Saviour, will provide viewers with an in-depth look at the life and crimes of a serial killer, Hadden Clark. Premiering on Investigation Discovery across three nights, starting Monday, 2 September, the series is executive produced by filmmaker Michael Bay.

This five-part docuseries focuses on the lesser-known serial killer Hadden Clark, exploring his family background, traumatic childhood, and the path of depravity he embarked upon.

Through exclusive access to Clark, Bay presents a detailed portrait of the killer. Recorded private conversations between Bay and Clark offer insight into his psychology, with the FBI referring to Clark as ‘a person of interest’ in over 20 states.

The series also includes interviews with key figures, such as Clark’s brother, Geoff Clark, and Jack Truitt, Clark’s former cellmate to whom he confessed, believing him to be Jesus.

Bay, known for his blockbuster films, steps into the documentary genre with this project, stating his intention was to “gain insights” and understand the mind of a person capable of such acts.

Born Evil: The Serial Killer and the Saviour also provides access to Clark’s personal journals and illustrations, shedding light on his crimes and offering potential leads on unsolved cases. Through interviews with law enforcement and victims’ loved ones, the series examines the investigation and the lasting repercussions of Clark’s actions.
