Can a rookie flipper turn a hot tub horror show into a million-dollar dream? A&E’s new series Million Dollar Zombie Flips aims to find out. In the series premiere, seasoned flipper James Dainard takes a gamble on first-timer Tyler, giving him the reins on a dilapidated zombie house.
The property presents immediate challenges. The layout is a mess, and there simply aren’t enough bedrooms to justify a million-dollar price tag. And then there’s the backyard. Picture a crumbling deck and a hot tub that looks like it’s hosted a family of swamp creatures for the past decade. It’s not exactly a buyer’s paradise.
With Tyler in charge of the renovation, the stakes are high. If he manages to bring the property up to snuff, he and James split the profit 50/50. But if Tyler falls short, James takes over, pockets the entire profit, and Tyler walks away with a hefty lesson in the harsh realities of high-stakes flipping.
