The Williams family returns to Bounce this Saturday, June 28, with a new episode of Mind Your Business. Airing at 8:00 PM ET, The Boy Is Mine (Season 2, Episode 4) places Alfonso’s friendship in jeopardy and sees Kim chasing social standing, all within the comedic framework of their music-centric family life.
The central conflict of the episode sees Alfonso grappling with a friendship that’s thrown into chaos after Aaliyah breaks up with his friend. This puts Alfonso in the awkward spot of trying to maintain a bond with someone no longer linked to his family. Meanwhile, Kim is busy attempting to inject a dose of luxury into their family’s daily existence. Her goal: to impress a group of mothers in a “Black Excellence” club.
The series is built around the everyday goings-on of the Williams family, who run a music business celebrating life’s big moments. Often, however, their family affairs require more mediation than music.
