Miriam Margolyes Joins Doctor Who for 60th Anniversary Specials in November

This year’s 60th anniversary episodes of Doctor Who will air in November, and they’ll feature the legend that is Miriam Margolyes. Miriam provides the voice for the Meep, a popular character from the comic strip The Star Beast.
On joining Doctor Who, Miriam Margolyes says: “I’m relieved I got to work on Doctor Who before I died. With sci-fi you never know. Thank you for making an old woman very happy.”
To celebrate its 60th anniversary, Doctor Who will return in November 2023 with three special episodes starring David Tennant as the Fourteenth Doctor. Over the festive season, fans can watch Ncuti Gatwa’s debut as the 15th Doctor.
The premiere of the new season of Doctor Who will air on the BBC in the UK and Ireland exclusively. Outside of the United Kingdom and Ireland, Disney+ will be the only place to watch new episodes of Doctor Who.
