Charleston’s Newest Charmer: Molly O’Connell Trades Runways for Sweet Tea

Southern Charm Key Art

Southern Charm is about to get a dose of high-fashion realness. Molly O’Connell, she of America’s Next Top Model fame (and, let’s be real, the victim of one of Tyra’s most questionable haircuts) is officially joining the Charleston crew. Apparently, hanging around Craig Conover and the gang at parties wasn’t enough drama for this Southern Belle. Now, she’s a full-time cast member, and I, for one, am here for it.

Bravo tells us Molly’s a Charleston native, raised by lawyer parents. After conquering the modeling world (and surviving Tyra’s shears), she’s back in the Holy City, ready to reconnect with family and friends. But, with “entanglements” with the Southern Charm men already in her past, figuring out where she fits in might be trickier than walking in six-inch heels. Oh, and did I mention she sings? Madison LeCroy’s already a fan, calling Molly “weird, but like, in a good way,” which in Southern Charm world, is basically the highest compliment.

Look, we know reality TV loves a familiar face, and Molly’s no stranger to Bravo. Remember her stint as a charter guest on Below Deck? Yeah, girl gets around. But this time, she’s not just visiting a yacht; she’s diving headfirst into the Southern Charm whirlpool. And honestly? I can’t wait.
