The backwoods are about to get a little more tense. Discovery’s “Moonshiners” wraps up its fourteenth season this Tuesday with “Resisting Arrest,” and the title alone suggests things are about to boil over. For moonshining duo Mark and Digger, the stakes are higher than ever as the long arm of the law closes in, forcing them to get creative in their efforts to conceal their illicit operation.
Meanwhile, Mike and Jerry are busy tinkering with a new still, aiming to achieve the impressive feat of producing two proofs simultaneously. One has to admire their ambition, even if their methods are, shall we say, less than legal. And in a touching subplot, Kenny steps up to lend a hand to a moonshining legend in need, during what’s rumored to be his final run.
