This week on Moonshiners, the stakes are higher than ever, and the potential for disaster looms larger than a copper still. Forget the usual Appalachian antics – this time, our intrepid bootleggers are facing near-blinding mishaps, blueberry-induced business blunders, and a nautical nightmare that’s sure to test their ingenuity.
First up, Mark and Digger, never ones to shy away from a fiery challenge, decide to spice things up with a hot pepper moonshine. Enlisting Patti Bryan’s expertise, they embark on this culinary-cum-chemical experiment with the best of intentions, but as we’ve come to expect from this crew, things go south faster than a revenuer on their trail. This time, their eyesight is on the line, adding a new level of risk to their already precarious profession. Will they emerge with a potent potable or a trip to the emergency room? It’s a close call.
Meanwhile, Tickle, our entrepreneurial moonshiner-restaurateur, finds himself in a bit of a pickle. His ambitious blueberry order for Tickle’s restaurant backfires spectacularly, leaving him with a surplus of the little blue fruits and a shortage of workable ideas. Never fear, though, because Tickle’s resourcefulness knows no bounds. He concocts a plan to turn his blueberry burden into a boozy bonanza, creating a new moonshine flavor that could either be his saving grace or his ultimate downfall. One can only hope his concoction is more palatable than it sounds.
But perhaps the most puzzling development this week is the unveiling of Mark and Huck’s latest project: a bootleg boat. The purpose of this floating distillery remains shrouded in mystery, leaving viewers with more questions than answers. Are they planning a moonshine cruise? An escape route for when the feds finally close in? Or maybe just a really inefficient fishing vessel? Your guess is as good as mine.
Tune in Tuesday, December 17, 2024, at 8:00 PM on Discovery to witness the fallout from these ill-conceived schemes.
