Mr. Pawsitively Perfect, UPtv Premiere, Sunday, June 1

Mr. Pawsitively Perfect Key Art

UPtv is betting on canine cuteness with the premiere of its TV movie Mr. Pawsitively Perfect, airing Sunday, June 1 at 7 PM ET. The film, originally released in 2023, stars Christine L. Nguyen as a budding marketing designer and Jamie Spilchuk as a once-famous furniture designer whose star has dimmed somewhat.

The plot hinges on a furry matchmaker: Nguyen’s character’s beloved foster dog. When Spilchuk enters the picture, sparks fly—but not necessarily the good kind. Nguyen worries that he’s more interested in the PR boost a cute canine can provide than a genuine connection.

Directed by Graeme Campbell, with a script by Anne Hollister, the film leans into the kind of heartwarming tropes that have become UPtv’s calling card. Expect feel-good moments, a healthy dose of romantic tension, and of course, a very good boy (or girl) at the center of it all.
