A&E presents a brand new episode of the true-crime series Murder at the Motel, titled “A Night Terror.” The episode airs on Wednesday, June 26, 2024, at 10:00 PM.
On July 9, 2018, officers from the Beckley, West Virginia Police Department, received a disturbing call. A young woman claimed that she and her friends had been kidnapped and terrorized at the Travelodge on Harper Road, and one of them had been fatally shot.
When investigators arrived, they discovered the body of 19-year-old Amber Meadows amid the disarray of Room 48. The investigation that followed focused on tracking down the four perpetrators involved in Amber’s brutal murder.
In “A Night Terror,” viewers are taken through the tragic events that unfolded at the motel and the subsequent pursuit of justice.
The episode looks into the personal story of Amber and the impact of her death on those closest to her, as well as the diligent work of law enforcement officers to solve the case.
