On Saturday, April 13, ABC TV presents the second episode of Murder in Provence, a crime drama set in the idyllic south of France.
In this episode, Antoine Verlaque, the Investigating Judge of Aix-en-Provence, and his romantic partner, Marine Bonnet, find themselves entangled in a double mystery. It begins with the death of an aristocrat, found dead at his crumbling chateau. As Verlaque and Bonnet, along with Hélène, investigate and believe they have their suspects nailed, another body is discovered, adding a layer of complexity to the case.
Meanwhile, in the nearby town of Eguilles, a young woman’s death raises questions about a potential love affair. But is this tragedy connected to the aristocrat’s demise? As the team delves deeper, they uncover more crimes and navigate the dark underbelly of their picturesque home.
The series stars Roger Allam as Antoine Verlaque, Nancy Carroll as Marine Bonnet, and Patricia Hodge as main guest star.
