Lifetime delivers another dose of female-centric suspense with “Murder at the Lighthouse.” Jess, seeking refuge from an abusive ex, hires a fishing boat to take her to Canada. But a sudden accident leaves her stranded and at the mercy of a reclusive lighthouse keeper. Out of the frying pan, into the fire, as they say.
Rescued but not exactly safe, Jess begins to suspect that her new surroundings harbor a different kind of danger. Is the lighthouse keeper her savior or something far more sinister? As Jess recovers from her ordeal, she must unravel the secrets of the lighthouse before she becomes its next victim. Let’s just hope her cell phone has decent reception.
Starring Skye Coyne, Sherri Manzoline, and Mark Justice, “Murder at the Lighthouse” uses the isolated setting to crank up the tension.
