The popular cooking competition show, My Kitchen Rules, is set to return to Australian screens on Channel 7 and 7plus, with a new season starting on Monday, 9th September at 7:30 pm. The show will once again feature celebrity chefs Manu Feildel and Colin Fassnidge as they travel across the country, searching for the best amateur home cooks Australia has to offer.
This season promises a diverse range of contestants, including competitive brothers, best friends with a passion for Italian cuisine, young mums promoting healthy eating, and a loved-up couple with contrasting cooking styles. Each team will bring their unique culinary skills and personalities to the table, aiming to impress the judges and secure the top prize of $100,000.
Feildel, a veteran of the show, has hinted at the exceptional quality of the dishes this season, suggesting that one team will create the best dish he has ever tasted in his 14 years on the show. Fassnidge, his co-host and fellow judge, agrees, emphasising that the competition is not just about cooking but also about expressing one’s personality through food.
The show will culminate at Kitchen HQ, where the top-performing teams will battle it out in the final stages, putting their cooking skills to the ultimate test.
The show is produced by Seven Studios for Channel 7. Executive producers are Rikkie Proost, Matt Apps, and Therese Hegarty.
