Mysteries From Above returns to Sky History Thursday, 12 June at 10 PM GMT with Animal Oddities, an episode that takes flight – literally – to capture some of nature’s most unusual spectacles.
From the swirling movement of a nomadic herd in the north to the behemoths lurking in the Pacific shallows, the episode uses aerial footage to shift perspective on animal behavior. Viewers will also witness a full-on porcine stampede in the US and track top ocean predators off the Florida coast.
With its blend of high-definition aerial photography and informative narration, Mysteries From Above works on multiple levels – as a nature documentary, a look at cutting-edge technology, and a reminder of how much we still don’t know about the planet we inhabit.
Mysteries From Above airs Thursday at 10:00 PM GMT on Sky History.
