Hallmark invites viewers back to the enigmatic “Mystery Island” this Thursday for a new installment in the murder mystery franchise. “Mystery Island: Winner Takes All” sees the return of Elizabeth Henstridge as Emilia Priestly and Charlie Weber as Jason Trent, the duo known for turning crime-solving into a playful competition. This time, however, the game takes a deadly turn.
Emilia and Jason are hosting a murder mystery party, a seemingly harmless event designed for intrigue and amusement. But when a real murder occurs, the line between fiction and reality blurs, turning the island getaway into a high-stakes whodunit. With phone lines cut, the participants are trapped, and the search for the killer becomes a claustrophobic race against time. As the investigation unfolds, long-held secrets begin to emerge.
Starring alongside Henstridge and Weber is Kristin Booth. Directed by Steven R. Monroe from a script by John Christian Plummer, “Mystery Island: Winner Takes All” has all the trademarks of a classic Hallmark mystery: a picturesque setting, intriguing characters, and enough red herrings to keep viewers guessing until the very end.
