The dysfunctional dream team behind the massively popular (and massively buggy) MMORPG “Mythic Quest” is back for a fourth season of corporate shenanigans and creative clashes. Apple TV+ has dropped a trailer that hints at even more chaotic energy than before, which, given the show’s track record, is quite a feat.
This season, the gang grapples with the ever-shifting sands of the gaming industry. We see hints of new rivals, rising stars threatening to eclipse the old guard, and the usual interpersonal fireworks that keep the Mythic Quest offices perpetually teetering on the brink of implosion.
The trailer gives us glimpses of Rob McElhenney’s Ian, still navigating the choppy waters of shared leadership, and Charlotte Nicdao’s Poppy, continuing to push the boundaries of game design (and sanity). David Hornsby’s David seems to be embracing his role as the perpetually flustered executive producer, while the rest of the ensemble cast, including Danny Pudi, Ashly Burch, Imani Hakim, Jessie Ennis, and Naomi Ekperigin, are poised to deliver their signature blend of quirky humor and sharp wit.
The first two episodes of Season 4 drop on Wednesday, January 29, 2025, with subsequent episodes airing weekly. The full season will consist of 10 episodes, offering plenty of time for the team to wreak havoc, both in the virtual world of Mythic Quest and in the very real world of office politics. For fans craving even more Mythic Quest lore, the four-episode anthology series “Mythic Quest: Side Quest” will offer a deep dive into the lives of employees, players, and fans beginning March 26, 2025.
Don’t miss the double-episode premiere of “Mythic Quest” Season 4 on Wednesday, January 29, 2025, only on Apple TV+.
