Discovery Channel’s Naked and Afraid: Last One Standing returns for a third season, and this time, the Outback is the arena. “Outback Trial by Fire” kicks off the season this Sunday, dropping a group of seasoned survivalists – including familiar faces like Laura, Matt, Ky, and Max – into the heart of Australia, where danger lurks around every corner (and, let’s not forget, slithers through the grass).
This is Naked and Afraid at its most extreme. We’re talking scorching heat, limited resources, and, oh yeah, deadly taipan snakes. In fact, the premiere episode features a particularly hair-raising encounter with the venomous reptiles, as a group of contestants find their shelter surrounded.
Plus, one survivalist legend sustains a severe third-degree burn, raising serious questions about their ability to continue in the competition. With a cash prize on the line and only one winner crowned, these survivalists will test every ounce of their experience and knowledge. “Outback Trial by Fire” looks set to raise the survival stakes to a whole new level.
