Life on the canals isn’t always smooth sailing, but it certainly makes for compelling television. Channel 4’s “Narrow Escapes” continues this week, giving us a look into the day to day life of those living on the open water, as they attempt to keep things ship shape.
Andy takes a journey toward Llangollen for the colder months, paying a visit to Ruth, who featured previously. Ruth’s latest venture sees her opening a marina chandlery. Meanwhile Pat and Jill start giving their boat a new look, whilst Jill also takes to the skies. Rachel and James start their new adventure, moving from bricks and mortar to their new life afloat and Tim and Tracey put on a gathering for the Accessible Waterways Association, making sure their mooring is suitable.
“Narrow Escapes” airs Tuesday, 20 May at 4:00 PM GMT on Channel 4.
