National Parks: USA continues with a double bill, featuring episodes three and four, on Nat Geo. The episodes air back-to-back, starting at 8:00 PM.
Episode three, “Yellowstone,” looks at the world’s first national park. The episode explores the park’s diverse wildlife, including the resilient bison, playful grizzly cubs, and the steadfast Wapiti wolves. There is also a look at the park’s Indigenous heritage, ecological diversity, and geological wonders, such as its collection of geysers.
In the fourth episode, “Olympic,” the focus shifts to Washington State’s rugged coast and Olympic National Park. This park spans 1 million acres and boasts diverse habitats, from coastal fog to glacier-capped mountains. The unique landscape is home to a rich biodiversity, including the Olympic Marmot, Roosevelt elk, bobcats, and one of the last Pacific salmon runs in the contiguous United States.
