NBC has unveiled its New Year’s Eve programming, a blend of familiar favorites and celebratory specials to usher in 2025. The lineup caters to a wide range of tastes, from comedy enthusiasts to pop culture aficionados.

The evening begins with a dose of medical mirth, as St. Denis Medical returns at 8:00 p.m. with a rerun featuring superstitious shenanigans and Ron’s skepticism encountering karmic consequences. Sticking with sitcoms, Night Court follows at 8:30 p.m., with a repeat episode focusing on Abby’s investigation into a possible familial link between her boyfriend and Dan, while a former acquaintance of Dan’s steps into the role of the court’s new prosecutor.

As the clock approaches 9:00 p.m., the network shifts into full celebratory mode with A Toast to 2024!. This two-hour primetime special, hosted by Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush Hager, revisits the year’s most memorable moments, featuring a constellation of stars. While specific guests haven’t been disclosed, given the hosts’ knack for attracting A-listers, viewers can anticipate appearances from some of the biggest names of the year.

Past participants featured in the special include Rihanna, Post Malone, Kelly Clarkson, Will Forte, Kristen Stewart, Kevin Hart, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Lizzo, and Dua Lipa.

Finally, as the new year arrives, E! News Presents NBC’s Hot 10 of 2024 takes over from 12:35 a.m. to 1:35 a.m. Justin Sylvester and Keltie Knight host this countdown of the year’s most significant moments across entertainment, sports, and other notable events. Expect appearances from Jimmy Fallon, Dolly Parton, and Andy Cohen, alongside a sneak peek of what’s ahead in 2025.
