NBC to Air Peacock Original Series Mr. Throwback on September 12

Mr Throwback

NBC will broadcast the first episode of the Peacock original comedy series Mr. Throwback on Thursday, 12 September, at 9 p.m. ET/PT. The series premiered on Peacock on 8 August, coinciding with the Olympic Games, where series star Stephen Curry helped the USA Basketball team secure a gold medal.

Mr. Throwback centres on a memorabilia dealer seeking redemption by reconnecting with his sixth-grade teammate, NBA legend Steph Curry. The series is created by writer/executive producer David Caspe and writers/executive producers Matthew Libman and Daniel Libman, with Curry and Adam Pally serving as executive producers and stars.

The series features Ego Nwodim and Ayden Mayeri as series regulars, with Tracy Letts, Layla Scalisi, Tien Tran, and Rich Sommer as recurring guest stars. Mr. Throwback is produced by Universal Television, a division of Universal Studio Group, in association with Unanimous Media.
