NBC's Christmas in Rockefeller Center Premieres Wed November 29

This year’s “Christmas in Rockefeller Center” special will feature a star-studded lineup of musical performances and special appearances to celebrate the lighting of one of the world’s most famous Christmas trees. The two-hour broadcast will begin at 8 p.m. ET/PT on NBC and Peacock on Wednesday, November 29.

Delightful renditions of the holiday spirit will be presented by a star-studded cast, including Darlene Love, Seth MacFarlane, Barry Manilow, Chloe Bailey, Adam Blackstone, Cher, David Foster, Liz Gillies, and Carly Pearce, Manuel Turizo, among others. Duets by Blackstone and Palmer, Foster and McPhee, and Gillies and MacFarlane will be featured, and Cher will be joined onstage by Love for a special performance in addition to her solo set. Following custom, Radio City Music Hall’s annual “Christmas Spectacular” will dazzle audiences with a performance by the Radio City Rockettes.

Kelly Clarkson, winner of both an Emmy and a Grammy, will serve as host and perform her holiday hits for the first time this year. The tree lighting will feature a special appearance by “TODAY” hosts Savannah Guthrie, Hoda Kotb, Al Roker, and Craig Melvin.

An 80-foot tall and 43-foot wide Norway Spruce will be illuminated in Vestal, New York, as part of the annual holiday special. The tree will be topped with a three-dimensional Swarovski star encrusted with three million crystals and will weigh around 12 tons when finished.

Production company Brad Lachman Productions is responsible for the annual “Christmas in Rockefeller Center” event. Bill Bracken and Brad Lachman are the show’s executive producers. The show’s producer is Matt Lachman. The director is Glenn Weiss.
