Season 22 of NCIS will premiere on Monday, October 14, 2024, on CBS. The two-hour premiere will be followed by the all-new prequel series NCIS: Origins tracing the early career of Jethro Gibbs.
The episode will see the Major Case Response Team tackle new cases, secrets, and dishonesty, including the presence of a mole within NCIS. A dead body ends up in Vance’s office, hinting at the deadly nature of the mole’s infiltration.
The season will have 21 episodes, a significant increase from the previous season, which was shortened to only 10 episodes due to a writers’ and actors’ strike in 2023.
“Empty Nest” is written by Christopher J. Waild and directed by Diana Valentine.
The season 22 premiere of NCIS: Empty Nest, airs Monday, October 14, 2024, at 8:00 PM ET on CBS and streaming on Paramount+.
