This Monday, “NCIS” returns with a classic whodunit twist. In “Killer Instinct,” the team finds themselves with a high-profile captive – a notorious hitman known only as “The Poet” – but capturing him is only half the battle. The real mystery begins as the agents try to uncover who hired The Poet to assassinate a Navy chief. The clock is ticking, and the team needs to work fast to prevent another tragedy.
With a script penned by Andrew Bartels and directed by Lionel Coleman, this episode looks to be a tightly wound thriller. The NCIS team are experts at unraveling complicated cases, but “The Poet’s” capture puts a dent into their usual routine. The hitman’s silence could lead them down a blind alley.
