CBS’s The Neighborhood returns this Monday with an episode that takes the guys on a road trip and leaves the ladies holding the baby, literally. In “Welcome to Getting Lucky,” Calvin, Dave, and Lamar head to a casino, hoping to strike it rich, while Tina and Gemma find themselves unexpectedly babysitting. Meanwhile, Marty, ever the romantic, tries to carve out some quality time with Courtney. The premise is simple, relying on the established comedic dynamic between the characters to carry the episode. And, to be fair, that dynamic has often been the show’s strongest asset.
Star Tichina Arnold is making her directorial debut for the series with this episode.
