CBS’s “The Neighborhood” returns this Monday, April 14th, at 8:00 PM ET/PT (and streaming on Paramount+) with an episode titled “Welcome to the Sting.” This week, the laughs come courtesy of a little corporate espionage and a foray into the world of literary agents.
When Calvin and Marty grow suspicious of their competitor, Fuse Box, they send Courtney on a covert mission to gather intelligence. Given Courtney’s, shall we say, less-than-stealthy personality, this undercover operation is bound to generate some hilarious mishaps.
Meanwhile, Malcolm takes a significant step in his writing career. Attending a USC event for his creative writing program, he lands a meeting with a literary agent named Lisa (played by Angelique Cabral). Will Malcolm impress Lisa with his prose, or will his literary dreams be politely rejected?
Directed by Victor Gonzalez and written by Bill Martin & Mike Schiff, “Welcome to the Sting” looks set to deliver the usual blend of heart and humor that “The Neighborhood” fans have come to expect.
