CBS’s “The Neighborhood” returns this Monday with an episode that explores the delicate balance between neighborly ribbing and genuine care. In “Welcome to Your Own Medicine,” Dave suffers a minor mishap (or major, depending on who you ask) involving a basketball and a severely miscalculated dunk attempt. The result: an injury that leaves him at the mercy of none other than Calvin.
As Calvin nurses Dave back to health, expect plenty of humorous back-and-forth between the two neighbors, whose relationship is often defined by a playful antagonism. This temporary role reversal offers a chance for some unexpected bonding, or at least, a different kind of bickering.
Meanwhile, Gemma finds herself navigating the wilds of suburbia as she joins (or perhaps endures) a local mom group. The clash of personalities and parenting philosophies seems ripe for comedic fodder.
