Netflix Announces New Frank Lammers “Ferry” Film

Back in Business Ferry - The Series Exclusively on Netflix, Premiering November 3

Netflix has announced that there will be a new “Ferry” film starring Frank Lammers and Huub Smit. The film is a spin-off of the popular series “Undercover” and takes place after the third season. It will be produced by De Mensen and the rest of the cast will be announced at a later date.

The film follows the character Ferry Bouman, a drug lord from the South who has retired and is living a quiet life away from Brabant. However, he is haunted by his past and battles with his conscience. The film explores why he would come out of retirement for one last trick.

The cast includes Frank Lammers as Ferry Bouman and Huub Smit as Dennis. The film will be directed by Wannes Destoop and the screenwriters are Tibbe van Hoof and Geerard Van de Walle. The executive producers are Ivy Vanhaecke and Pieter Van Huyck.

The production company, De Mensen, will be producing the film in association with VRT and with the support of the Belgian Tax Shelter measure. The film is scheduled to launch on Netflix in 2024
