Netflix Release Official Trailer for “Bridgerton” Season 3

Bridgerton

Fans of the hit period drama “Bridgerton” have much to look forward to in Season 3, which will focus on the romantic relationship between Penelope Featherington (Nicola Coughlan) and Colin Bridgerton (Luke Newton). The season will be released in two parts, with the first four episodes premiering on Netflix on May 13, 2024, and the remaining four episodes following on June 13, 2024.

The season’s plot will deviate from the chronology of the original book series by Julia Quinn, adapting the fourth novel, “Romancing Mister Bridgerton,” instead of the third. This narrative decision was made to build upon the setup of the Season 2 finale, in which Penelope overhears Colin declaring that he would never court her. Heartbroken, Penelope resolves to move on and find a husband who will respect her agency and support her double life as Lady Whistledown.

The cast will see some changes, with Ruby Stokes, who played Francesca Bridgerton, departing due to scheduling conflicts. She will be replaced by Hannah Dodd, known for her role in “Anatomy of a Scandal.” Other new cast members include Daniel Francis, Sam Phillips, and James Phoon, who are expected to portray potential suitors for Penelope.

The release of a trailer and additional promotional materials has built anticipation for the season, with fans eagerly awaiting the development of the “Polin” romance and the exploration of the complex dynamics within the Bridgerton family and the upper-class society of Regency-era London.
