Netflix has released first-look images and announced that the series The Madness will premiere on 28 November 2024. The series stars Academy Award nominee Colman Domingo. It is created by Stephen Belber and VJ Boyd, who also serve as co-showrunners.
The release date falls on Thanksgiving in the US. The Madness follows media pundit Muncie Daniels (Domingo) after he stumbles upon a murder in the Poconos woods.
Muncie finds himself fighting for his innocence and his life, and as the truth emerges, he strives to reconnect with his estranged family and his lost ideals. The series is directed by Clément Virgo, who also serves as an executive producer alongside Peter Chernin, Jenno Topping, and Kaitlin Dahill.
Alongside Domingo the cast of The Madness also includes Marsha Stephanie Blake, Gabrielle Graham, John Ortiz, Tamsin Topolski, and TJ Mixon.
