The debut of Meghan Markle’s new Netflix series, “With Love, Meghan,” has been rescheduled due to the devastating wildfires currently impacting California. Originally slated for release on January 15, the series will now premiere on March 4. The decision to postpone the release was made out of respect for those affected by the ongoing disaster and to shift focus towards the immediate needs of the community.

The series features Markle blending her passions for cooking, gardening, and conversation. It’s designed to be a personable experience, inviting viewers into her world as she hosts a range of guests, both familiar and new. Among those joining her in the series are Mindy Kaling and the chef Roy Choi. The show’s format includes practical “how-to” segments, casual conversations, and some unexpected elements like a visit to a beehive. The eight half-hour episodes provide an intimate look at Markle’s various interests and talents.

Markle released a statement on Sunday expressing her gratitude towards Netflix for their understanding and cooperation. “I’m thankful to my partners at Netflix for supporting me in delaying the launch, as we focus on the needs of those impacted by the wildfires in my home state of California,” she stated. The statement underscores the importance of putting people first and recognizing the gravity of the current situation in California. This decision to delay the series reflects Markle’s commitment to her home state and demonstrates her desire to be sensitive to the ongoing crisis.
