Netflix Sets “Countdown: Paul vs. Tyson” Documentary Series Ahead of Heavyweight Mega-Event

Netflix has announced Countdown: Paul vs. Tyson, a three-part documentary series offering an inside look at the intense preparations for the heavyweight boxing showdown between Jake “The Problem Child” Paul and Mike “The Baddest Man on the Planet” Tyson.

The match will take place on Friday, November 15, 2024, at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, and will air live at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT. Episodes 1 and 2 of the documentary will debut on November 7, with the final episode airing on November 12.

The series provides unprecedented access to the training camps of both fighters, showcasing the grueling physical and mental demands they endure in preparation for the event. In addition to covering the main event, Countdown will also feature the lead-up to a historic women’s boxing match: the rematch between Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano, who will compete for the undisputed super lightweight championship in the co-main event.
