Safe House and Raised By Wolves

Despite not quite setting our world alight ITV’s crime thriller Safe House was given a second season. The network have just announced some pretty important casting news for that second season too. Christopher Eccleston won’t be returning in the lead role. New character ex-police officer Tom Brook (played by True Blood’s Stephen Moyer) will be the man presiding over a safe house in the wilds of Anglesey.  Other new cast members include Zoe Tapper, Dervla Kirwan and Jason Watkins.

Channel 4 sitcom Raised by Wolves will not be getting a third season. Written by Caitlin Moran and her sister Caz the series was heavily based on their own lives growing up in Wolverhampton. Rebekah Staton, Helen Monks and Alexa Davies starred. Moran hopes to continue the series in one form or another whether that be via another network or a streaming network.
