New Episodes of “Doctor Who” Will Premiere May 10 on Disney+ & BBC ONE
Disney Branded Television and BBC have joined forces to reveal the premiere date for the upcoming season of “Doctor Who,” marking a significant moment as it becomes the first-ever season to launch on Disney+ and release simultaneously worldwide. The new season will debut on Friday, May 10 at 7:00PM EDT on Disney+ in the U.S. and internationally (excluding the UK). For audiences in the UK, it will kick off on Saturday, May 11 at 12:00AM GMT on BBC iPlayer, followed by BBC One later that day.
This particular season of “Doctor Who” will follow the Doctor and Ruby Sunday as they embark on thrilling adventures across time and space in the TARDIS. From exploring England during the Regency era to navigating war-torn futures, they will confront both trusted allies and formidable adversaries while fighting for justice.
Showrunner Russell T Davies expressed his enthusiasm for the new season: “At last…a whole new season of the Doctor and Ruby’s adventures together…Don’t miss a second!”
