New Paranormal Series ‘Hauntings’ Premiering Soon BBC Two with The Enfield Poltergeist

Hauntings brings to light some of the most baffling paranormal events in Britain and the U.S., with the series revisiting notable cases that have gripped the public’s attention for decades.

The first episode focuses on the Enfield Poltergeist, a case that began in September 1977 when police responded to reports of strange occurrences at a house in Enfield, London. Officers reported hearing unexplained noises and witnessed furniture moving on its own. Over time, events escalated to include disembodied voices and levitation, all documented on film and audio recordings.

The case remains one of the most controversial paranormal investigations, leaving experts and investigators without a clear explanation for the phenomena. Hauntings provides a detailed analysis of the case, drawing on exclusive interviews with individuals closely involved.
