AXS TV has announced the return of its artist profile series, ‘Rock Legends,’ for a 13th season. The new season will premiere on Monday, September 30, at 8 p.m. ET. The series will feature 15 new episodes, each exploring different genres, movements, and influential figures in music history.
‘Rock Legends’ provides in-depth looks at the lives and legacies of music’s most significant figures. The show includes rare archive footage and classic performances, with detailed insights into the history of music. Experts and critics provide commentary, highlighting the highs and lows of these musical icons.
The 13th season will kick off with an episode titled “Outlaw Country,” which examines the trailblazers who defied the Nashville establishment to create a unique sound. Other episodes will focus on various themes, including “Honky Tonk,” “The 27 Club,” “Songwriters Behind The Big Names,” “Yacht Rock,” “Guitar Legends,” “Canadian Rockers,” “Drummer Legends,” “Doo-Wop Extra,” “Heartland Rock,” “Mod,” “Punk Rock,” “90s Riot Gurrrl,” “Roots Rock,” and “Politically-Charged Songs.”

‘Rock Legends’ will air every Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday in primetime. The show is produced by 3DD Productions for AXS TV. Executive producers include Greg Drebin.
