The heat is on in the Next Baking Master: Paris kitchen as the competition enters its sixth week, with the remaining bakers facing egg-celling challenges. The episode, titled “Break an Egg,” will air on Food Network on Monday, June 10, 2024, at 9:00 p.m.
Hosts Stephanie Boswell and Ludo Lefebvre present a classic French test: the soufflé. The bakers must demonstrate precision and technique to create the perfect, airy dish. Trendy pastry chef Nesreen Mroueh then teaches them the versatile but tricky pâte à choux dough, which forms the basis of beloved French treats like cream puffs and éclairs.
The bakers must then showcase their mastery of this dough by creating a large-format dessert that highlights the incredible egg in three unique ways. It’s a true test of their ability to innovate while honoring classic French techniques.
One of he bakers will of course be going home as the rest continue their journey toward the title of Next Baking Master.
