Next Level Chef Season 4 Premiere: Social Media Stars Battle for Culinary Supremacy (FOX, Thursday, February 13, 2025)

Next Level Chef

So, another season of “Next Level Chef” is upon us, and in this premiere episode it’s the Social Media Chefs auditions. These online foodslingers, armed with viral recipes and more Instagram followers than Michelin stars, will face off against against other to then take on seasoned pros and home cooks in a high-stakes competition for the grand prize of $250,000.

“Social Media Chef Auditions,” offers a first glimpse at this eclectic group. Eight social media chefs will bring their most aesthetically pleasing plate to the table, hoping to impress the formidable trio of Gordon Ramsay, Richard Blais, and Nyesha Arrington. But will their online prowess translate to the heat of a real-world kitchen? Can a perfectly filtered photo compensate for a lack of classical training?

This season’s format pits 24 culinary masterminds against each other, divided into three categories: professional chefs, social media chefs, and home cooks. The social media contingent, accustomed to the curated world of online content, will face a harsh reality check in Ramsay’s notoriously demanding kitchen. Expect some surprises as these digital-age cooks attempt to prove they can deliver restaurant-quality dishes under pressure. While some might crumble under the scrutiny, others could emerge as unexpected dark horses.

One thing’s for sure: this premiere will separate the wheat from the chaff (or perhaps the perfectly seared scallops from the overcooked Insta-pasta). Be prepared for some swift eliminations as Ramsay and company quickly identify who has the chops to compete at the next level.

“Next Level Chef” airs Thursday, February 13, 2025, at 8:00 PM ET/PT on FOX.
