The Next Step Sets Final Series This June 23 on CBBC, A-Troupe Dances for Survival

The Next Step Key Art

After more than a decade on air, The Next Step is gearing up for its last routine.

CBBC and BBC iPlayer have locked Monday, June 23, 2025, for the launch of the tenth and final series of the long-running tween dance drama. The new season marks the end of the line for A-Troupe—and this time, the stakes are higher than ever.

The series picks up with the studio in serious trouble. Despite their status as International Champions, A-Troupe is blindsided by rule changes from Absolute Dance that force them to re-qualify for Regionals from scratch. Worse still, the studio is now co-owned by longtime fan favourites Eldon and Michelle, and their financial future is hanging by a thread.

The pressure ratchets up with the arrival of The Brawl, a shadowy, high-stakes competition with a cash prize big enough to keep the studio afloat—if the dancers can survive it without turning on each other. The twist introduces new rivals, shifting alliances, and a split focus that could jeopardise A-Troupe’s core mission.

New episodes will feature Carter Musselman as Heath, Benjamin Williams as Pete, Blake Talabais as Anthony, Sheriauna Haase as Adele, Kate Roman as Ariana, Mia Tupy as Jett, Shane Mahabir as Ethan, Hattie Kragten as Olive, with Pascale played by Mackenzie Barbeau, Grace by Brianna Diebolt, Jonah by Tim Zyifel and Izzy by Renee Romolo.

The Next Step is produced by Boat Rocker and remains one of CBBC’s most enduring titles, drawing loyal viewers with its mix of performance, tension, and reality-style drama. As the final series hits screens, the big question isn’t just whether A-Troupe will win—but whether they’ll survive as a team.
