NFL Series “Receiver” Premieres Wednesday July 10 on Netflix

Receiver is an eight-part documentary series that follows five NFL athletes throughout their 2023 season. The series, which premieres on Netflix on 10 July 2024, offers an unprecedented glimpse into the lives of these athletes, both on and off the field, as they navigate tremendous pressures and challenges.

The series is a follow-up to last summer’s Quarterback, which focused on the NFL’s top quarterbacks. This time, the spotlight is on the receivers, with the series exploring the hidden dedication and athleticism required to succeed in this position.

The five athletes featured in the series are:
– Davante Adams, wide receiver for the Las Vegas Raiders
– Justin Jefferson, wide receiver for the Minnesota Vikings
– George Kittle, tight end for the San Francisco 49ers
– Deebo Samuel, wide receiver for the San Francisco 49ers
– Amon-Ra St. Brown, wide receiver for the Detroit Lions

The series is produced by NFL Films, Omaha Productions, and 2PM Productions, with executive producer and legendary quarterback, Peyton Manning, telling Netflix: “As we did with Quarterback, we look forward to telling the stories of five incredible receivers, each with their unique personality, skill set, and motivation for what drives them to be the best.”
