Brighton’s “Night Coppers” are back on the beat this Monday, facing the usual mix of nighttime incidents in this bustling seaside city. In this week’s episode, officers Jodie and Zoe respond to a neighborly brawl where CCTV footage disputes one party’s claims of innocence. Veteran officer Emma encounters a lost child wandering the streets late at night. Getting the child to reveal his identity proves to be a surprisingly difficult task.
Later, officer Joe, who also happens to be a classically trained singer, encounters a series of intoxicated Brightonians, including a suspected drunk driver. “Night Coppers” is a look at the challenges of policing a city after dark. The episode airs Monday, May 12th at 10:00 PM GMT on Channel 4.
