Brighton after dark: a vibrant mix of ten thousand revellers, pulsating nightclubs, and, inevitably, a certain amount of mayhem. This Monday at 9:00 PM GMT on Channel 4, “Night Coppers” returns to patrol the city’s nocturnal landscape, and Episode 4 looks set to be another action-packed ride.
One of the key scenes finds officer Ramon in the thick of it, breaking up a mass brawl and trying to restore order amidst the chaos. As if that weren’t enough, he’s then tasked with hunting down the suspects involved.
Elsewhere, officers Jake and Dan face a different kind of challenge – the adventurous, and potentially reckless, urban explorers. This time, the pair discover a group that’s managed to scale a crane on a building site, requiring a delicate operation to bring them down safely.
And then there’s the neighborhood dispute that takes a turn for the absurd. Hannah finds herself dealing with an unruly, and thoroughly inebriated, neighbour who steadfastly refuses to keep the noise down.
From assaults and public intoxication to drug-related incidents and everything in between, “Night Coppers” continues to present an unflinching look at the realities of policing a busy city after dark.
