A blood moon hangs over Manhattan, and things are about to get a little weird, even by “Night Court” standards. This Tuesday’s episode, “Blood Moonstruck,” finds Abby and Gurgs playing Cupid for an unlikely romantic pairing involving Julianne. But amidst the burgeoning romance, a courtroom crisis unfolds as Wyatt fills in for Dan. The results are likely less than ideal.
The “Night Court” reboot, centered on Abby Stone (daughter of the original series’ Judge Harry Stone) and the eccentric crew of the Manhattan arraignment court night shift, has consistently delivered laughs. The question for “Blood Moonstruck” is if anyone will bring order to the chaos, or if the blood moon’s influence will reign supreme.
