On Sunday night Lifetime presents the thriller Nightmare in the Desert, starring up-and-coming talent Gia De Sauvage, Allen Williamson, and Tristan J. Watson.
The story follows Shae (De Sauvage), who returns to her childhood home outside Joshua Tree National Park after her father’s passing.
Accompanied by her boyfriend, Chris (Watson), she intends to sell the house and move on from her past. The couple decides to explore the park, unaware of the danger that lurks within its desert landscape.
As they hike through the rugged terrain, Chris plans to surprise Shae with a marriage proposal. However, a mysterious figure stalks them, determined to thwart the proposal, even if it means resorting to murder. Shae’s childhood friend, Burke Elder (Williamson), becomes entangled in this deadly game as the past and present collide in a battle for survival.
Nightmare in the Desert airs on Lifetime on Sunday, September 24, 2024, at 8:00 PM.
