The Old Man returns to FX with a double bill to kick off its second season. The first episode, titled “VIII,” sees Dan Chase and Harold Harper in Afghanistan, where they must evade the Taliban to rescue Emily.
The action-packed premiere finds the retired CIA officer, Dan, and his former colleague, Harper, in dangerous territory as they attempt to save Emily from the Taliban. With their skills and experience, the duo must use all their resources to ensure a successful extraction.
The second episode, “IX,” reveals Emily Chase’s true identity as the daughter of Faraz Hamzad. As she grapples with this newfound knowledge, external forces threaten her and her newfound family.
The season continues the story of Dan Chase, a former CIA officer who went off the grid decades ago. When an assassin targets him, Dan is forced to confront his past to protect his future.
The Old Man, Season 2, Episodes 1 and 2 air Thursday, September 12, 2024, starting at 10:00 PM on FX.
