“One Day at a Time” Cast Reunites for Table Read of Unaired Episodes

TV News Just In

Three unaired episodes of the cancelled TV series, “One Day at a Time”, will be presented as a table read by the original cast. This event, taking place on October 5th in North Hollywood, will support the People For the American Way Foundation, an organisation founded by original series developer Norman Lear.

The series, a family comedy-drama, starred Justina Machado as a single mother and military veteran, co-parenting with Rita Moreno’s character, her mother.

The table read will feature the season four finale, providing a glimpse into the show’s planned ending.

“One Day at a Time” originally aired for three seasons on Netflix before moving to PopTV for its fourth and final season. The series’ cancellation in 2020 resulted from PopTV’s decision to stop producing scripted content, with the additional impact of the COVID-19 pandemic leaving six episodes unfilmed. Despite its cancellation, the show’s creators shared their vision for the remaining episodes with fans via social media.
