Channel 4’s “Our Dream Farm With Matt Baker” returns to the picturesque landscapes of Wales, where the search for a new tenant to manage a stunning 600-acre farm continues. Seven hopeful applicants, already residing on the farm, face a series of tasks designed to test their practical skills, conservation knowledge, and business savvy. From handling livestock – including the daunting task of administering vitamins to a one-tonne bull – to presenting their business plans, the applicants are under constant scrutiny from Matt Baker, Eryri General Manager Trystan Edwards, and the National Trust’s Land and Estates Director, Giles Hunt.
In this week’s episode, the pressure mounts, and we see the first applicant exit the process. Their lackluster livestock handling and questionable business proposals fail to impress, leaving six remaining contenders to vie for the coveted 15-year tenancy. With fields, woodland, mountain pasture, a four-bed farmhouse, holiday letting accommodations, and even access to a lake with breathtaking views of Yr Wyddfa, the farm represents a truly unique opportunity.
