On the east coast, we catch up with Will Jenkinson, a fifth-generation fisherman. During the warmer months, Will can be found spending most of his days at sea. We also get a glimpse into Will’s home life and meet his family, learning about the potential future of the Jenkinson fishing legacy off the coast of Scarborough.
Meanwhile, in Southowram, West Yorkshire, 25-year-old farmer Stephen Short is relishing in the rewards of his diligent labor. His flock has grown to 200 sheep, and he now has 150 new lambs and 18 calves. But today, his focus is on his sheepdog pup, Whin, who needs training if she’s to become an integral part of his workforce.
In the picturesque Yorkshire Dales, off-grid residents Adam and Moira Domican-Gough are putting the final touches on their tea and cake kiosk, hoping to entice passing tourists with their offerings. They also prepare for a very special guest—105-year-old Margaret, who has a deep connection to Crina Bottom, as it was her mother’s childhood home in the late 1800s.
