‘Out Of Order’ Renewed for Series 2 at Comedy Central with Rosie Jones, Katherine Ryan & Judi Love Returning

Out of Order Key Art

Comedy Central is reloading its panel format Out Of Order for a second run, bringing back Rosie Jones as host and team captains Katherine Ryan and Judi Love for more sharp-edged ranking chaos.

The commission comes off the back of a 12-episode debut series that aired in 2024, which leaned into Jones’s offbeat tone and built its format around one deceptively simple concept: judging strangers. Comedians compete to rank members of the public in categories that swing from blunt to bizarre—think “Who earns the most?” or “Who’s had the most one-night stands?”

Production is handled by Bango Studios, a fresh indie founded by the core creatives behind Rumpus Media. The recommission cements Comedy Central’s investment in fast-turnaround comedy formats with cross-platform reach, especially those anchored by talent with strong fanbases.

Jones, who has a busy slate this year, is also headlining the new Channel 4 sitcom Pushers and launching her own foundation focused on mental health support for people with cerebral palsy. She’s also booked for a run of stand-up previews at Edinburgh Fringe in August with her upcoming tour I Can’t Tell What She’s Saying.

Returning captain Ryan is already calling out for applicants with standout stories and quirks for Series 2. No word yet on specific guest bookings, but past names have included Chris McCausland, Phil Wang, and Johnny Vegas.

Production is underway. Airdate TBA.
