“Outlander” Season 7 Premieres on Starz on June 16

“Outlander,” will be back on Starz for its seventh season starting on June 16. The season will be split into two parts, with each part featuring eight episodes. The second half of the season is expected to air in 2024.

The show has been renewed for an eighth and final season, and a prequel series titled “Outlander: Blood of My Blood” has been confirmed for the first season. It will focus on Jamie Fraser’s parents.

You can watch the premiere of the seventh season of “Outlander” on June 16 at midnight ET through the STARZ app, STARZ streaming or on-demand platforms, and on the LIONSGATE+ premium streaming platform in the U.K. For linear viewing, the show will debut on STARZ in the U.S. and Canada at 8:00 PM ET/PT on the same day. New episodes will air weekly on Fridays on the STARZ linear platform and will be available for streaming on the aforementioned platforms at midnight.

STARZ has also announced some new cast additions to the upcoming season. Izzy Meikle-Small will play “Rachel Hunter,” Charles Vandervaart will be “William Ransom,” and Joey Phillips will play “Denzell Hunter.” Meanwhile, returning cast members include Caitríona Balfe (“Claire Fraser”), Sam Heughan (“Jamie Fraser”), and Sophie Skelton (“Brianna MacKenzie”).

The “Outlander” series is based on Diana Gabaldon’s global best-selling books. It has sold over 50 million copies worldwide, with all nine books featured on the New York Times best-seller list. The show has amassed a worldwide following by blending genres like history, science fiction, romance, and adventure.
